I inked the leaf in Really Rust & stamped it onto Very Vanilla CS & cut it out. Then I sponged more Rust onto the cut out leaf & added a layer of Crystal Effects. It's popped up, shiny & beautiful!
The background paper that looks like beautiful wood grain is from a new pack of DSP called Autumn Meadows in the Holiday Mini catalog. It has Taken with Teal, Chocolate & Really Rust in it. I sponged on an extra bit of Rust onto the edges of the DSP too. Notice the grid looking paper behind the leaf & on my oval greeting? That is also one of the papers included in this pack. It's a bit distressed already, but I added extra sponging to add even more colors to it.
The give thanks greeting is from the Level 1 Hostess set called Holiday Best.
Speaking of hostess sets - if you are even remotely considering hosting a workshop or even a book party, the time is now!
During September through November SU is offering an extra item from the Holiday Mini catalog for just $10 if your party totals over $250. You can choose from almost anything in the mini - including Sizzix dies over $40, stamp sets of any price & even the new Build a Bear items! Plus two new hostess set choices are in the mini - a level 1 & a level 2. Just wait until you see them! Hint: Adorable snowmen you can build or change up & a new type of Christmas trees set. Both original & fun. Many of my customers should be getting their new Holiday mini catalog in their mailbox this week.
