My friend & down-line Marguerite let me use her Tulipe sizzix die & I thought I'd show you some of the cards I made with it.
The Tulipe shape is cut out of the Melon Mambo textured card stock & placed over a piece of Vanilla card stock that I had stamped the En Francais background onto using Basic Gray ink. I wrapped the Basic Gray taffeta ribbon around the corners before mounting it onto a square Basic Gray card. The card is 5" square.
used the large Oval punch for the Vanilla greeting & the Scalloped
Oval punch & Basic Gray card stock for the outer layer.
For the Newlyweds is from our new stamp set 'Teeny Tiny Wishes'. I did sponge around the edges too.
Well I am a bit frugal, so I saved the pieces I cut out on the card above & used them on this one! I adhered them to a piece of textured 'To the Nines' specialty paper & added some hand stitching with a black marker. I also did a little paper piercing in the corners using our Mat Pack & paper piercing tool.
The card is adhered to a 5" square folded card with a small bow in the center.
The die shape was cut from Bravo Burgundy card stock with Razzleberry Lemonade designer series paper peeking out from under the tulipe design. Just beautiful!
All I did to this card was add a few brads from the Rhinestone Circle Fire brads collection in the bottom corner.
