Thought I would give you all something to do while you wait to hear the NEWS about the New Fall/Winter Catalog that I get to see in just a few more hours!!!!
I used the Retiring Bali Breeze Designer Series paper, Old Olive, Whisper White & Turquoise card stock.
The stamps are from Happy Everything & Wanted.
Isn't it adorable!??
It holds at least 8 cards with envelopes & most likely more.
Here's how to make it:
It is important to start with a true 12" sheet of Patterned paper.
Score it at 3" & 9". Turn it & score it at 4 1/2" & 7 1/2".
Fold on all score lines.
Fold the inside score line to the outside score line. The edges will not line up at the top. Just be sure the bottom corners are well lined up.
Do this on all 4 corners.
Another image showing you how to fold these inside corners.
This is what the sides look like after you fold all 4 inside corners in.
Adhere these flaps to form the box.
I would recommend using either Sticky Strip (red-lined tape) or Tombo Multipurpose Adhesive.
Adhere these together while curving them slightly. Since they form a curved handle, you need to adhere them while curved or you'll get a distorted handle.
I used a stamped & punched element along with a brad to secure it all to the main box.
I stamped the large round Wanted stamp using Turquoise ink & punched it out with the 1 3/8" circle punch. The little flower was punched from Olive CS using the Boho Blossom punch.
I poked holes through my long ribbon/CS strips, added the stamped circlular elements over it & secured it all with Turquoise brads to the box.
I'll show you how to make the Turquoise scalloped square using our New Scallop Border punch in a week or so. Watch for it!
